So here in Colorado yesterday, it was sunny and 75. But as Halloween approaches, Mother Nature decided to show her stuff and today was cloudy, rainy and cold. Tomorrow, Halloween...chance of snow. Which inspired me to do this little illustration. Harkening back to those days when your costume success was largely dependent on the weather. And your beautiful ballerina costume, became more like the abominable snow ballerina. I've never been a HUGE Halloween person, but I AM a HUGE candy person. I miss the days of stealing, I mean borrowing, my kids candy after they went to bed on Halloween night. They learned quickly to stash it someplace before heading to bed. Those were the days :) Stay safe out there little trick-or-treaters!
