Water has always been an issue in Colorado. Fortunately, last winter was a good snow season, but this summer has been unusually hot VERY dry. Lots of fires up the canyon from me. Makes me so sad to think of all those little critters losing their home and all those fighting hard to get it under control. It was 98 on Sunday and then Mother Nature stepped in and gave us a bit of precipitation! Woohoo. It's fall....right? Well, we sort of skipped right over that and lo and behold....it snowed! About 14 inches up where the fires are so YAY! Mother Nature is a powerful gal, and we will take whatever precipitation she decides to throw our way!
